Good morning, the new year looks to bring in some weather that should help make some ice. High temperatures right around freezing or just below and low temps well below freezing. It’s a long way out, but in the 15 day forecast I am seeing measurable snow on the 8th and 9th.
The ice conditions on any sizeable lakes are dire at best with lots of open water around our area. Anglers need to give this weather a solid week or two to start making some good ice before they even think about trying to fish.
